Dean Potter Slacklining Without a Tether

Picture from adventure-journal.com
Dean Potter decided to release himself from his harness before slacklining Yosemite's Taft Point.

This is crazy. This story had only two conclusions: Potter's death or his craziness.

In the background, you'll see someone observing from behind a safety rail. I've stood behind that railing, looking down made me nervous but I don't climb without a rope, something Potter's known to do.

What I remember him best for is climbing the Delicate Arch in the Moab. I think he lost some sponsorships for that, seems he's willing to risk even more.
