The peak pissing contest

This is a pissing contest that I can get into: the Web site Peakery has launched, allowing users to create a profile that shows the peaks they've climbed.

If Jordan Romero stays at last year's pace, he'll have more peaks on his profile then Tom has friends on Myspace.

On the site, you can view pictures of the peak. Seems a lot like Google Sherpa-Cam. There sure is a lot of opportunities arising for couch climbing.

I'm going to grab a box of Cliff bars and start clicking my way to the top of the world until Outside makes a section for the top virtual adventurers.

Users can leave a trip report, which is really similar to Trail Journals.
