Everyone who has been watching Adventure April has surely seen the series chronicling Primal Quest Utah and Primal Quest Montana. If you haven't tuned in, then you should but I'll fill you in a bit.
Primal Quest is a notorious adventure race that was held annually but has been in hiatus for a bit. The race typically lasted a week to ten days covering 400-600 miles of orienteering, trekking, biking, paddling, open water swimming, canyoneering, zip-lining, and rock climbing.
News comes from the Adventure Blog that a PQ 2012 is in the works.
The details are sparse at best but what's been told is that the seven-day race will be held in the Western United States. I'm sure it'll be quite the contest.
I've thought that Expedition Idaho, organized in part by legendary Mike Kloser, will be this year's best US race. Next year, the US could have two great ARs. Very exciting.
